Her eye for detail, love of plants and passion for the natural world led to her leaving the corporate world and following a long held dream to work with the beauty of the seasons. Jo first studied for her Royal Horticultural Society certificate in Principles of Garden Planning at Winterbourne House and Gardens in Edgbaston. Thus followed an RHS Silver medal award at Gardeners World Live for her Beautiful Border. Our design philosophy is to use strong structural design incorporating clean and simple lines and hard landscaping materials to compliment the house and surroundings. It is the relationship between strong design and good planting combinations that make a successful garden. At the first meeting at your outside space, we like to understand your ideas and plans for the garden and the budget you would like to set. Maybe you would like to introduce structure to your garden in terms of evergreen shrubs, topiary or statement trees. Or, you may want planting designed for your individual requirements and to solve any problems on site such as shade, drought and flooding. Our beautiful planting combinations are achieved through a blend of design skill and horticultural knowledge to produce a plan that provides a balance of structure, form, texture, colour and year round interest. The planting plan shows the locations of all the proposed plants along with species and cultivar names as well as the quantity required.
